There are many signs of success throughout the over 45 years of operation. The apartment community is designed for families with children and presently has a statistical population of approximately 700 adults and 1000 children. There are low vacancy factors and a low turnover rate. The delinquency factor is extremely low for multifamily income units and is even more so, considering the low and moderate incomes of its residents.
The surrounding community has added its praise to the success of the apartment community as well as many city and elected officials. Since 1986 an average of 50% of the residents have vacated to become first time homeowners/buyers.
To this end, great pride is felt in the successful endeavors of the National City Park Apartments by those members of the San Diego County Building and Construction Trades Council whose commitment to this community has never ended.
